Kevin Ware suffered a horrible injury during the final four of March Madness.  Many of you saw the gruesome injury during the game.  I saw the injury.  I saw the agony, the tears, and the shock instantly unfold on the court.  However, after Ware was carried off the court, he didn’t disappear.  He began tweeting, connecting the audience and gaining thousands of followers.  He uses Twitter as a source of motivation.  He allows his fans to see what he is doing to overcome this setback and get back on the court.

Twitter allowed Ware to become in inspiration for many people.  Through Twitter he encourages people to stay positive and get through their troubles. Twitter has the ability to connect people in a way like never before.  In a time of need, Twitter connects everyone.  I think it is amazing how quick Twitter can reach people. It opens opportunity like never before to get the word out and connect with users.
